Treat everyday like it is your last.
I've been at mum the last month, go and visit Bill I would say. Bill is a close friend who resides in a rest home.
Anyway finally we went today to visit him. After the drama of putting on a special mask; face shield and signing in, a process taking 10 minutes, we walked down the corridor to his room...
Empty...
Different furniture...
Gone...
Bill passed away a week ago... we missed him.
Treasure each day as if it is your last as one day it will be. Mum and I have one special memory and that is a 40 minute interview I did with Bill in 2019. It is special. It has him talking. It's about him...his memories.. special.
Do one thing tomorrow...record in video format your loved ones talking. Spend time with them...because once they are gone they cant come back.
Rest in peace William Gillespie our special friend
Xx
