William COOPER Obituary

Ex Lyttleton Stevedore Company. On December 10, 2025, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 96 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, loved father and father-in-law of Eleanor and Peter, and Sam, much loved Pop of Brian, Zachary, Alex, Darcy, and Maisie and Great-Grandad of Tom, Dustin, Luna, and Isabelle. The family wish to thank Dr Tim Hitchins, Ward 12 and CCU of Christchurch Hospital for their many years of love, care and attention. A Celebration of Bill's long and eventful life will be held in the Harewood Chapel, Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, on Friday, December 19, at 1.00pm.

Condolences to the family of Bill Cooper, a well respected member of the Lyttelton waterfront , also a very dedicated member of the Lyttelton waterfront first aid division , taking part in the inter port first aid competitions , throughout New Zealand ports. Always presented with a laugh and a smile.
