Passed, January 11 2026, at Kaiapoi Lifecare. Dearly loved husband of the late Maria Denk. Loved father of Marle (Germany) and special friend of Meike (Germany). Special brother and brother-in-law of Rudolph (dec) and Christina and uncle to Bernhard, Christoph, Felix (Germany). Treasured friend of Kate and Michael (Christchurch). Werner will be greatly missed by his friends Mike and Ray Hayes, Jared, and Fumiko and Takahiro. A very special thanks to the Kaiapoi Lifecare team for their outstanding care of Werner.
