Suddenly, at home, on Friday, October 16, 2020, aged 61 years. Loved and cherished sister and sister-in-law of Cheryl and Bill Hallett. Adored mum of Vino and Tinka. Loved by all her Chardy friends. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Wendy's life will be held at the Papanui Club, 310 Sawyers Arms Road, Bishopdale, Christchurch, on Thursday, October 29, at 4.00pm.

Deeply saddened to hear of Wendy's untimely death. Thank you Wendy for the many good times and unforgettable adventures we shared across three continents during the 1980s. Unfortunately we turned out to have less in common than we hoped. Like the Wendy in your favourite Springsteen song, you believed that you too were Born to Run. Rest in peace, Wendy.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Wendy's passing. I will always remember her for her kindness; she managed to lift my spirit in the dampest of times.
