Wendy AUSTIN Obituary

On June 16, 2025, Wendy passed away suddenly following a prolonged illness. She was cared for at home for many years by her devoted husband Gerald and much loved daughters Belinda and Rebecca. Wendy is also survived by their son Matthew. Gerald, Belinda, and Rebecca wish to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Edith Cavell Rest Home in Sumner, where Wendy spent her final years. In accordance with Wendy's wishes, no funeral service was held. Messages to PO Box 25017, Christchurch 8140.

Gerald Belinda Rebecca ( Matthew) Goodbye to my wonderful Godmother who kept in regular contact with me for most of my life. Such a very special lady full of life and laughter and always a real character. Thank you Gerald for having me as part of your family and thank you for taking the best care of her always. You had great adventures overseas and lovely caravan holidays close to home which the girls have continued. The end of a wonderful era.Love and hugs to you all Bridget and Kevin Bygate Garner xxx
