Wayne LEARY Obituary

On August 28, 2025, Wayne died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Devoted, witty, and wonderful husband of Gillian Ashurst. Amazing Dad to Ranger, and Izzy. Annoying (and much loved) big brother of Mark. Beloved friend to many, whose humour will always be legendary. Many thanks to the staff at Adriel House for their incredible care. The funeral service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Thursday, September 4, at 10.30am, with refreshments to follow at the family home in Okuku. Burial to follow at Birch Hill Cemetery, at 2.30pm.
