HUMPHRIES,Wayne Edward:
Wayne's journey ended peacefully at home on February 10, 2023, aged 75 years. Loving husband and best friend of Lone. Deeply loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Doyta and Charlie, Marianne (dec) and Fraser. Very special Grandad of Jessie, Michael and Matthew. Cherished son of Roy (dec) and Lois (dec). Loving and loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Murray and Linda, Brent and Tina, Robyn and Tim, Sheryn and Roger and their families. Best friend of Hugo his dog. Wayne will be missed beyond words. As per Wayne's wishes a private family service has been held. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated. We would like to express special thanks to Hospice Southland, Dr Karl Erath, Oncology Dunedin and Invercargill. Messages to – 200 Gore-Mataura Highway, RD2, Gore 9772.

So shocked to hear of Wayne,from my mate Paul Gutschlag,(Goose), just today 23/2,I'm over from Australia for 2 months said to Goose I'll call down and check out Wayne while I'm here,then he informed me ,Wayne and I worked at Rice's back in the 1970's, please accept my condolences to you all, John Holland....

I'm so sadden to see this I worked with Wayne in Gore post office , we had lots laughs , fun loving gentle man, I ring him up he come fix my tv , He come we talk re cancer .To our beautiful Lone & all families I feel ur hearts .RIP Wayne xx
