Vivienne WHITFORD Obituary

Vivienne passed away peacefully at Christchurch BUPA Care, Papanui Road, on August 29, 2025. Daughter of Cliff and Jean Whitford (both deceased), sister of Fae (deceased), Jenny (deceased), Sue and Nicky. Aunt to Guy and Hamish Ballantyne, Duncan, Stuart, and Andrew Brown, Stewart and Michael Harrison, Kerri and Karl Sutton. Many thanks also to the staff and nurses at BUPA Care, Dignity with Sincerity Funeral Services, and Reverend Andy Dickson, Anglican Parish of Merivale. In accordance with Vivienne's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Messages c/- the Whitford family to 78 Brisbane Street, Waltham, Christchurch 8023. Remembrance of Vivienne will be held at the Pétanque Club Rooms, Hagley Park North (beside the tennis courts) Riccarton Avenue, on Thursday, 25 September, 3.00pm. Vivienne's family, friends and Pétanque Club members are welcome to attend and raise a glass for home now is the international traveller.
