Vincent BEECROFT Obituary
Curtis David (Vinnie):
Tragically as the result of an accident at Dunedin on January 23, 2020; aged 14 years. Very much loved son of Michaela (Kayla) and Steve, loved grandson of the late Karen and Dave Beecroft and Sue and Nigel Hooton, loved by Anna (Nan Nan), loved nephew of Nik, Katie, and Jane, adored cousin of Alex, Kath, and Laura and extended family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge and thank all those involved in the search for Vinnie. A service to farewell Vinnie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, on Thursday, January 30, at 12.30pm, followed by private cremation.

Michaela and Steve our hearts are breaking for you over the tragic loss of Vinnie he was such a lovely polite young lad and a neat friend to Jono and Joel.We will miss his uncontrollable laughter and his gorgeous smile.We can't imagine how you will recover From losing Vinnie so young.

To Kayla, Steve and family,
We were devastated to hear of the loss of Vinnie under such tragic circumstances. He was a good friend to Finn during his Prebbleton School days. Lots of happy memories of sleepovers, skateboarding together, birthday parties (I found a photo of the boys together at Finn's 6th birthday dressed in matching Spiderman outfits) and trick or treating down the street. He was another member of the family at times (especially after your accident Kayla) and the boys would go off to school together and come home together on days Finn wasn't at gym. It was lovely that the boys managed to catch up late last year. Finn had also hoped to see him when he is in Dunedin soon but that is not to be.
