Vincent Murdoch (Vince):
On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, aged 85, in Christchurch. It is with deep sadness that we farewell a very special member of our family. Much loved husband and best friend of Carolyn for 58 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of David and Andrea, Catherine and Simon. Much loved Pa of Flynn, William, Sophie and Emma. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Sonya and the late Jim Knapp. Brother-in-law of Lyn and the late Ray Stone.
Vince was a truly interesting, versatile man,
defiant to the end.
A farewell service for Vince will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Tuesday, March 28, at 1.00pm. Messages may be addressed to Vince Barr's family, c/- 19 London Street, Richmond, Christchurch 8013.

Carolyn and Sonya, I always thought Vincent was invincible, from almost an older brother in our Westport childhood to an older 'elder' in retirement. Helen and I offer our heartfelt sympathy for your, and our, loss.
