Vilma CRAWFORD Obituary

Peacefully, in the arms of her daughters, on September 30, 2023, at Christchurch Hospital, in her 96th year. Dearly loved and treasured wife of the (always) late Bob Crawford. Adored mum and mum-in-law of Robyn and Peter MacDonald, and Sue and Rob Young. Cherished Nana of Tracey, Lisa and Tak, Kate and Dan, and the late Sara Jane. Dearly loved Nana the Great (Grandnan) of Mia, Emi, Juniper, Sophie and River. Loved sister of the late Ngai and sister-in-law of Ced Andrews, and Aunt of Lesley and Chris, and Michael, and great-aunt of Alyssa and Angela. We all loved her and she had a great love for all her family. "A very special lady, with innate strength and determination, and a sense of humour that remained intact to the end. She will be greatly missed by so many." Many thanks to the staff and carers at George Manning, and the amazing nurses and staff of Ward 24 at Christchurch Hospital.
