HAYWARD, Veronica Joy
(Joy) (née Weatheral):
On Friday, June 16, 2023, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, surrounded by her family, aged 71 years. Much loved wife of Ivan for 46 years. Dearly loved and cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Barbara and Wade, Regan and Giselle, Gina and Rowan. Very treasured Nana of Freya, Harriet, Walter, Abbigail, and Ada. Highly respected and loved sister of Peter, Michael (deceased), Cathy, and Brenda. Loved sister-in-law of Lorraine. Joy was a wonderful and caring friend to many. Messages may be addressed to the family home, or to The Family of the late Joy Hayward, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A memorial service in celebration of Joy's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 2.30pm. As were Joy's wishes, colourful clothing is to be worn (no black tops) - it's a celebration after all.

We went to flag five hundred at the RSA together with Margaret Eder years ago .She was also our postie in Southbelt .
