Veronica H. "Bonnie" Brown, age 90, of Tyler Road, Penfield, PA, died December 12, 2025 at Penn Highlands-DuBois, after a brief illness. A daughter of the late John and Mary (Fisherowski) Sadowski, she was born on May 10, 1935 in Tyler, PA. On September 29, 1951 she married Leo A. Brown who predeceased her on November 30, 2009.
Besides her parents and her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by an infant brother, Raymond, twin sisters, Elizabeth and Pauline; a sister-in-law, Connie Sadowski; and two brothers-in-law, Dennis "Pete" Klaiber and George Chiodo.
Bonnie is survived by, six children, Rita (Pat) Gerg of Weedville, Cathy (Edward) Meraglia of Force, Cindy (James) Rucinski of Penfield, Leona (Eddie) Gregg of Washington, PA, Ellen (Rodney) Morris of DuBois and Donald (Stephanie) Brown of Penfield; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Joseph Sadowski of Penfield; two sisters, Antoinette "Toni" Klaiber of Weedville and Theresa "Terri" Chiodo of Force; and several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie spent most of her time caring for her family and doing housekeeping for several local families. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, family gatherings, watching birds, ceramics, TV, her tablet and Facebook for keeping in touch with family and friends. Living all her life in Tyler, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force.
Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and also on Thursday from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield.
Vigil Service will be held, 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force.
Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery next to her husband.
