Vera STOCKDALE Obituary

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, aged 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Gavin. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Graeme and Megan, Michael, Shayne and Louise, Hayden and Kylie, Kerran and Steve. Much loved Nana of Amy, and Ben; Martin, and Hana; Oscar, and Alfie; Freya; Ethan, Liam, and Ruby. Loved Nan to her great- grandchildren Noah, Levi, and Maia-Rose. A Special thankyou to the staff and residents of Arvida Park Lane for the care provided to Vera for the last year. A funeral service for Vera will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Tuesday, April 28, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Her kindness, love, and dedication to her family and friends will be greatly missed.

I have many memories of Vera,as she was a school friend.
It was great to see she was able to attend our School dinner last year.

Dearly loved by her twin sister Lorna and Lyndsay Watson, Barbara Harbison, Robert and Peta Cockle and her nieces and nephews. Vera passed away peacefully April 15, 2026.

She will be greatly missed by all.
