Valmai ROLLO Obituary

Passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at Christchurch Hospital, following a fall. Aged 96 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Brent (deceased) and Linda, Grant and Kerrie (deceased), Kerry and Pete. Treasured Nana of Shirlene and Ron, Reon and Clara, Daniel and Catherine, Simon and Jannah, Kate and Scott, and a much loved Great-Grandma to her 10 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Valmai's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Tuesday, December 9, at 4.00pm.

Am very sad to read of Valmais death. Valmai employed me many years ago at Woolworths Shirley
She was a lovely caring Lady with a great sense of humour who loved life and her Family very much

Saddened to read that Valmai has left us . The notice took me back some 60 years when I was at Banks Ave , in Grant´s class , to Shirley Boys High where I played rugby with Brent , work where I worked with Kerry and of course days at Rugby Park competing .
My kindest thoughts and sympathy to all the family and apologies for my non attendance on Tuesday as I am away in the USA with my youngest son .

So sorry to hear of Valmai´s passing. The epitome of one who lived life to the fullest. Loved her picnics and anything social. Wonderful memories for us to cherish.
