On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, passed away peacefully in Burwood Hospital, aged 82 years. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Barrie for 59 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Justin and Anneke, and Marcus and Emily. Cherished 'Nanny/Nanna Val' of Estelle, Ella, Beau, and Josh. Many thanks to the staff of Burwood Hospital for their care of Val. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Valerie Cook, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Valerie will be deeply missed. The celebration of Val's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, June 3, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
