Cherished husband of Mary and the late Vera. Adored father of John, Catherine, Matthew, Tom and Ruth and father in law of the late Marie, Dave, Julie, Julia and Nigel. Beloved Grandad to Cara and Grady, Bert and Justine, Monique, >Annajhay, Jack, Maddi, Neve, Hannah, Lachie, Emily and Tanner, Charlotte, Patrick, Elizabeth, Angus, Liam, Conor, Breanna and Jonty and great-grandad of Daniel. A Service for Val will be held in St John The Baptist Catholic Church, 3 Killarney Street, Alexandra, on Saturday April 6 2024, at 11.00am. Rosary for Val will be held in the Church at 5 00pm on Friday April 5. Livestreaming at affinityfunerals.co.nzLivestreaming at affinityfunerals.nz A spirited member of the high country and farming community and will be sadly missed by all. A very special thank you to the wonderful team at the Maniototo Health Services (Ranfurly Chalets). Although I only met Val at Dads funeral in 2010, I was inspired by his legacy in St Bathans this year.
