Valentine STEERE Obituary

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Val passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice & Palliative Care Christchurch, ending his long fight with cancer, aged 80 years. Loving husband to Sandra, loved dad to Keith, Nicola (deceased), and Elizabeth. Loved son of the late Francis (Frank) and the late Maisie Steere. Loved brother of the late Merv and Cynthia, Laurie and Jenny, Jenny and Steve, and Mel. Loved son-in-law of the late Keith and the late Nancy Philpott. Brother-in-law to Vicki and Jeff, and Brent and Joyce. Loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A cremation has been held. A Memorial Service for Val will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11.00am in the Salvation Army Citadel Foyer, 177 Linwood Avenue, Christchurch.
