Tui Aileen (nee King):
In her 81st year. Passed away peacefully at Anthony Wilding Hospital, on September 28, 2017. Childhood sweetheart and wife of the late John - reunited when Tui died on the 1st anniversary of his passing. Dearly loved Mum of Paul and Caro, Graham and Paulette, Gail and Jeff, and Lisa and Rob. Youngest sister of the (late) Violet, Ray, Trevor, Mervyn and Laurie. Adored Nana of Angela and Richard, Jessie, Hannah and Tiziano, Martin, Emilia and Cameron, Brad and Becky, Scott and Ashleigh, Danielle and Nathan, Natasha, Nick and Chloe, Ryan, and Cameron. Great-Nana Tui to Aston, Cody, Sienna, Carter, Arianna, Benjamin, (and new Bubba Dec), Isaac, Madeleine, Harper, Grayson, Piper, Willow and Aidan.
"To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honours."
Thank you to the staff at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village and Bishop Selwyn Lifecare, and Dr Phil Jacobs, for their care of Mum. A service to celebrate Tui's life will be held at Palmer Chapel, 150 Harewood Road, Christchurch, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 10.30am.
