Trevor KERR Obituary

We regret to announce the passing of our beloved Trevor, late of Christchurch, on 30 December, 2023, aged 88 years. Trevor was the cherished son of the late Leslie Francis and Violet Mary (Lapslie) Kerr. He was born on May 30th, 1935. Dearly loved father of Denis Grant Kerr, father-in-law of Lynne Marie Kerr and father of Graeme Trevor Kerr. Cherished brother of the late Bill Kerr Gladys),
Eileen Brough (Thomas), Beverley McKay (Brian), June French (Laurie), Frances McCann (Eddie), Ken Kerr and Frank Kerr. Trevor is survived by his brother, David Kerr, sisters, Laurraine Hammond (Colin) and Helen Harrison (Greg), step granddaughters, Kristine Cooper (Adrian), and Dee Grant (Nic) and step-great-grandchild, Myla Reece Cornish. Special mention for their love, devotion and kindness shown towards Trevor over the years, especially recently in his time of need, daughter-in-law, Lynne Marie Kerr, niece Debbie Pardoe (Paul), nephew Murray French (Sandra), dearest friend and brother-in-law, Laurie French, and sister, Laurraine
Hammond. Trevor is also survived by numerous other family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Our sincere appreciation to the management and staff at Addington Gardens Care Centre for their compassion and attentiveness shown to Trevor while he was in their care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zealand Stroke Foundation have been
requested by the family, at www.stroke.org.nz/donate At Trevor's request, there will be no viewing or formal church service. A
gathering of family and friends will lay him to rest in late April 2024. Details regarding the internment will be posted in the Christchurch Press in early April 2024.
