Sheelagh WINGHAM Obituary

Passed away on September 30, 2025, in Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by her family. Loved wife of Jim for 44 years. Mother of Jackie and John, Vicky and Jeff, and Machael and Patrick. Nana Wing Wing to her much-loved grandchildren Jamie, Callum, Lochlan and Kestin, Matthew and Samuel, Bradley and Mitchell, and loved great-nan of her 12 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Sheelagh's life will be held at Harewood Crematorium Chapel, Wilkinsons Rd, Harewood, on Tuesday, October 7, at 1.00pm. Aunty Sheelagh,

Thank-you for being Nanny's closest friend for all of her life. She treasured no other quite like she treasured you. I hope that, wherever you both are, that you're reunited and back to causing mischief.

The loss of her caused me momentous grief and now you, are too, a great loss but I feel so special to have been loved by you all my life, as an extension of our family.

All my love to Jim and family. Let's remember that though we've to wait a long time to see Aunty Sheelagh again, we gained so, so much by knowing her and that'll keep us close until then.
