Trevor DOVEY Obituary
15.9.1932 - 10.9.2025
After a good long and hard run, Loco has reached his far horizon. Staunch and stubborn in his struggle with pain he died at Christchurch Hospital on Wednesday, September 10, 2025; aged 92 years. Loved son of the late Myra and Eddie, step-son of Bill Small (dec). Best and caring and most supportive big brother of siblings Colleen (dec), Len (dec), Ron (dec) and Helen. Fearsome and loved step-dad of Jennifer (Aus), Gillian (Aus) and Gloria (NZ), and a loved granddad. Special thanks to all his carers, the wonderful nurses and Dr Gort Stephan GP, all the cheerers and helpers along the way, especially Dagy and Carol for shelter, support and great friendship. Best friend Vassie, for her many visits. To all his many friends within and beyond Christchurch, a deep heartfelt thank you. Messages to the Dovey family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A private cremation has been held.
