There´s not many Doctors that can make you feel important. He treated you like a friend, mate, and cared about your future. I am very grateful and humble Robin and I chose him as our Doctor as we were not just a number to him we were treated like family. He was a special man and will be sadly missed. My thoughts go out to the family and to all t(e people he has touched. Rest in peace. Pam Welsh

Respected and much loved colleague , mentor , practice partner and friend of Murray and Anne Allen.

Hardy was a wonderful family doctor who understood and taught the art as much as the science of medical practice and in so doing influenced generations of younger doctors .

Doctor Hardy Hunt was my mother's doctor when she had me at the Elizabeth George Private Materinty hospital in Invercargill in 1961. He was my GP til aged 34 when I moved away. He delivered my daughter at Kew Obsetric Unit in 1989. He arrived wearing a maroon with white stripes pajama top as it was early morning. Dr Hunt was an icon in my family. My mother adored him. Rightly so, he was an amazing doctor, kind, understanding, humorous. I'll always remember him & I mourn his passing. Sympathy to all his family & friends. He was a Great Man.

Condolences to the family of Dr Hardy Hunt on the passing of a Kauri tree Invercargill family General practitioner. This most humble gentlemanly family doctor was our family doctor for many years. So privileged to be on his books. Always gave the highest standard of care. What a combination it was, Ms Helen Giles as secretary taking the appointment bookings while in their premises at 83 Don street Invercargill. As a child I can honestly say I always looked forward to seeing Dr Hardy Hunt. Such a compassionate and empathetic gentleman naturally. Always smiled accompanied by a twinkle in his eye. An iconic Invercargill family doctor. R.I.P.

Deepest condolences to all the Hunt & Henshall families. Hardy was extremely helpful to us when building our Wanaka home - regular photographic updates during the building phase were appreciated as living in Invercargill at that time. Hardy was always helpful and easy to talk to. Rest in peace Hardy. Kevin & Linda Wall.
