Tracy LAING Obituary

On September 17, 2025; aged 66 years. Dearly loved mum of Tamsin and Nicholas Rollinson. Loved sister of Carol, Clyde, and Martin and their families. Special thanks to Christchurch Police, FENZ, Sumner Coast Guard, and Search and Rescue for all their efforts and support. In lieu of flowers donations to Sumner Coast Guard or Search and Rescue would be appreciated and may be made on their respective websites. Messages may be addressed to 'The Laing-Rollinson Family' C/- PO Box 26051 North Avon, Christchurch 8148. Livestream of Tracy's farewell is available via johnrhind.co.nz on her notice in upcoming funerals. A farewell for Tracy will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London or Whitmore Streets, Christchurch, on Wednesday, October 1, at 1.00pm. Private Cremation thereafter.

Spoke to Tracy on the walking track near summit road mid morning. I wished her a good morning. I was devastated to learn of her death later that day in the news. She was deep in thought up there and no words were said, but there was energy for a tiny smile. She was well presented and ready for her next journey. I really hope this dear lady has found peace xxxx
