Dear Toni, and family, and wee Tiffany.
I'm so sad to hear of Toni's passing. I've just been home in Christchurch and feel very distressed I did not call to see you Toni and Tiffany. I saw Mark and can confirm how marvellous he would have been in caring for you Toni, a gem of a Doctor to put it mildly. I miss you already Toni, but my we had some marvellous times together going right back to my age of 18, meeting firstly at the Harmonic Choir, then Peats and so on. Sitting together on the bus going along Wairakei Road to work. We had SO much to talk about. You have inspired hundreds of people, touched many many hearts my love. Virginia (Spencer-Bower)

Toni, my dearest friend for so long, remembering your kind nature, the many shared experiences, our Oz travels, goodness knows how many jazz concerts and so many laughs along the way. And tears. The memories are rich and varied.
I count myself so lucky to have been one of your many friends.
You have dealt with the sometimes extreme difficulties of recent times and you have shown considerable courage and dignity. Dear friend, you will always be near to me.
