Timothy GIBYNS Obituary
On September 24, 2025, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 56 years. Dearly loved son of Murray McDrury and Mary Anticich, brother of Kathryn McDrury, and Tania and Greg Smith, uncle of Carly and Lara Smith, stepson of Anne McDrury. Special thanks to the Christchurch Hospital staff of Ward B6 who cared for Tim over the last 2 months, your support and kindness has been greatly appreciated. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Timothy Gibyns, c/- Hope Funerals, Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. Private cremation with a memorial service to follow in time.

Dear Whanau, sending so much love across the oceans. Timothy was a brave man and withstood so much over all these years. I remember how kind and gentle he was at Dad's memorial in 2022. I did not understand at the time that it was the last time I would see him ... this side of heaven. We will see you in Aotearoa in the next few years.
