Thornton Keats Obituary

KEATS, Thornton Reginald (Sonny) - On December 5, 2012, peacefully at Resthaven. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, loved and loving father of Richard, and Susan, loved Sonny of Eva, Rebecca, Holly, James and Jasmine Keats, and Nicola Blackmore, and a loved great-grandad of his 11 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Daphnie and William (Bill) Hughes (both deceased), Calvin (deceased) and Daphne, Betty and the late Eric Cox, Beverley and Donald Elmers (both deceased), Dawn and Jimmy Bunce (both deceased), Rex and Sheanagh, Nancye and Darryl (Cap) Tamaiparea (both deceased), John and Shirley, and his many loved nieces and nephews and their families. Brother-in-law to Athlone and Joe Williams (both deceased), Delvin (deceased) and Elaine Rickerby, and Janet Ingram and Dennis Brown. Thank you to the staff at Resthaven for their wonderful care of Sonny. Messages to the Keats Family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A service to celebrate Sonny's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, on Monday, December 10, at 10.00 a.m.
