Thomas Hugh (Hugh):
Passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023, at Mayfair Retirement Village, aged 88. Former husband of Norma (deceased). Loved father and father-in-law of Toni and Stephen, and Thomas. Grandad to Mischale and Raoul. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Colin and Pauline, Marie, Anne and Brian. Uncle, great, and great-great-uncle to his nieces and nephews. We want to thank and acknowledge the loving care given to dad by the staff at Mayfair Retirement Village.

In accordance with Dad's wishes a private service will be held. Messages can be made to Hope Funeral Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042.

Dear and loved friend, companion, sparring partner (verbal only) of Margaret Mills for the past 28 years. We met on the golf course and had numerous trips through NZ at chartered club tournaments; so much fun and satisfying. Hugh was also a stalwart supporter of my family,
Peter and Michelle, Grant (deceased), Lisa and Matt, he really showed he cared. Much gratitude to the staff at Mayfield Retirement Village; they were so kind and caring. They have angel wings hidden in their uniforms. Hugh succumbed to ill-health on Tuesday and he's now resting in well-deserved peace, love you sweetie.
