THOMAS MCGUIGAN Obituary

McGUIGAN, Thomas Malcolm (Tom), The Honourable, QSO, JP - On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, peacefully at Windsor House, in his 92nd year. Dearly loved husband of the late Ruth. Loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Shirley; Sue and Gair Evans; John, Gillian, and Liz (Wellington). A much loved Poppy of Michael, and Craig McGuigan; Nicholas Evans, and Felicity McKay; and Hamish, Joshua, and Finbar McGuigan (Wellington). Also a loved Grand-Poppy. Loved brother of the late Jack and brother-in-law of Vera. Special thanks to the staff at Windsor House for the wonderful attention they gave to Tom whilst he was in their care. Messages to the McGuigan/Evans families, c/- P O Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tom to either the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind or the Nurse Maude Association would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Tom will be held in the Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road on Friday, February 8 at 11.00 a.m. Private cremation thereafter.
