Dear Julie,Phil and Blair, and families our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. We were so privileged to share a lunch with you and Tom at your new retirement home, last month. Pete will never forget all the fun times with the harrier club. We also will miss our catch ups at Tekapo and the lake. Love Helen & Peter McKirdy.

It was with deep sadness to read of Tom's passing in this mornings paper.
Condolences to you all. I worked with Tom at NZI for many years and he was a very likeable character. Tom definitely liked a laugh and a chat. RIP

I was devastated to hear of Toms passing and sincere condolences to Julie and family. Tom and I were childhood friends for over 70 years , played cricket and rugby in the same teams during school days and both played together in 1968 for the South Canterbury Senior Reserve rugby team in an unbeaten season. Tom was also a groomsman at my wedding. We have kept in touch over the years since and I have always enjoyed his company and talking about times we had together in Timaru, I am going to miss him , he was a very good person and great friend. RIP. TJ

John and myself have spent many hours in Tom´s company and have enjoyed them all.
He was an entrepreneur in many fields.

Julie and Family..Toms death is a great shock but Harriet and i have started to remember the many years of fun and laughter we had with Tom ,you, and family.We wont forget him.Love to you all.
