Airman, RNZAF, 5th Regiment, WW2, Pacific Region

Born February 11, 1924, died peacefully on August 23, 2025, at Diana Isaac Rest Home, in the loving care of family. Aged 101 years. Dearly loved husband of Patricia Bonnie (deceased) for 71 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Peter (deceased) and Margaret, Margaret and Kel, Michael and Anita, Russell, and Paul and Elizabeth. Loved Grandpop of 14; great-grandfather of 18, and great-great-grandfather of 3. A wonderful caring father and friend, now at peace with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Will be sadly missed by all. No flowers by request. Messages to the Berry Family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. The service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at Our Little Chapel, 418 Saint Asaph Street, on Tuesday, September 2, at 11.00am. What a wonderful eulogy that Russel did at the funeral for Tom his father, his parents both Tom & Pat would have been soo proud ,Rest in Peace now Tom after a wonderful "101" years of happy life .

So sorry to hear of Uncle Tommy´s passing but what a great age and what a wonderful way to pass. We are in Australia so we won´t be able to attend the funeral today. Hopefully, we can join you on live stream. Sending love and best wishes to you all. Hold tight to all those incredible memories.
