Thomas ABBOTT Obituary

Formerly of Glenroy. On Saturday, October 18, 2025, peacefully at home in Darfield. Aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of Helen; treasured father and father-in-law of Donald Abbott, Andrew and Natalie Abbott, Rachel and Ruurd Lieuwes; step-father and father-in-law of Andrew and Wendy Lingard, Robert and Jayne Lingard, and Peter and Tamara Lingard; beloved Poppa of Nicola and Sam, Jessica and Caleb, Oliver, Kate, Alex, Miles, Olivia, Dylan, Atze, Wybren, Reitze, Morgan and Yahsze, Thomas and Samantha, Sam, and Henry; and Great-Poppa of Beauden.

Tom's funeral service will be held at Trinity Church, Mclaughlins Road, Darfield, at 11.00am on Friday, October 24, to be followed by a private cremation. So sorry to hear of Toms passing,and sad that I missed his funeral Service.Tom was regarded as a good friend and used to enjoy the great chats when he called In at the Tyre Centre.Thinking of you all at this time.

Please accept my condolences for Tom's passing. I really enjoyed getting to know Tom when Judith and I purchased his AR160 truck years ago and we had many enjoyable phone conversations regarding the trucks maintenance. I really liked and admired him.

Dear Helen and family. We are so sad to hear of Tom's passing. Please accept our sincere condolences. We love you all in the Lord Jesus.
