On August 2, 2017, peacefully at Nazareth House, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Christine, Barry and Eleanor, Christian and Anna, and Peter (deceased). Also loved Oma of Julian, Lauren, Sarah, Timothy, Paul Christopher (deceased), and Dominic. Messages to the van Uden family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. Special thanks to all the staff at Essie Summers and Nazareth House for their loving care of Dora over the years. Donations to the New Zealand Downs Syndrome Association would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A Funeral Mass for Dora will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, corner of Dryden Street and Menzies Street, Sumner, on Monday, August 7, at 1.00pm followed by burial at the Ruru Lawn Cemetery, Ruru Road. Vigil Prayer Service at the Church, Tomorrow (Sunday), at 7.00pm.
