Terry Durham Obituary

Terry D. Durham, 67, residing in Sandusky, Ohio died March 2, 2025 at home following a brief illness.
Terry was born on March 18, 1957 in Oberlin, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Joan (Holmes) Durham.
Terry graduated from Wellington High School, earned a BS in Agricultural Economics from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Ashland College. Terry retired from the Banking Industry in 2019 after 30+ years of service as a commercial lender.
Terry was a member of the Sandusky Rotary Club and volunteered with the American Red Cross. He enjoyed the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians, golfing, going to the casinos, hanging out with his grandchildren and spending time with his family and friends.
Terry is survived by his wife Kathryn (Sawyer) whom he married on December 22, 2000; two sons Aaron (Cyndi) Durham and Adam (Kym Keener) Durham both of Bartow, FL; four step-children Jason (Angela) Rice, Richfield, CT, Janice (Jim Morales) Rice, of Sandusky, OH, Laura (Shawn) McDowell of Sandusky, OH, and Brandi (Michael) Otterbacher of Sandusky; eleven grandchildren Simon, Grady, Colin, Tommy, Lucas, Cameron, Kate, Madison, Mason, Olivia and Harrison; two sisters Becky (Steve) Duelley of Xenia, OH, and Beth (Tim Thomas) Durham of Elyria, OH; and one brother Tom (Debbie) Durham of Wellington, OH. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tim (Janet) Durham of Woodsfield, OH and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Private family services will be held and conducted. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park. A public Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Mylander Pavilion, 223 W. Shoreline Drive, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870. The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements.
