Passed away peacefully at Nelson Tasman Hospice on May 18, 2024, aged 83. Late of Mahia and Christchurch. Dearly loved and soulmate of Diana for 60 years. Dearly loved Dad of Sandra. An adored Poppa of Brad and partner Hannah, and loved by brother Tom and Whanau. No flowers by request, donations to Nelson Tasman Region Hospice would be appreciated and can be made at https://www.nelsonhospice.org.nz/support-hospice/donate-funds/ A funeral service for George will be held at Richmond Church of Christ, cnr D'arcy and Croucher Streets, Richmond on Wednesday 22nd May 2024 at 10.30am.

We remember George as a valued ex employee, an expert salmon fisherman who often shared his catch with us and as a friend we would sometimes visit at Boat Harbour on our way to Kaikoura. He was a good man. Our condolences to Diana and his family.
