Susan MISSEN Obituary
Died peacefully at home on Friday evening, August 11, 2023, aged 75 years, in the presence of her husband and two sons. A dearly loved wife of Alan for 27 years. Much loved by her family: sons Haldane and Melvin Critchley; mother-in-law of Sandra; step-mother of Penny and Shaun Scott, Fiona Missen and Mark Heather; Katrina and Alan Maxwell; Lucy and Adrian Taylor. Proud grandmother of Leon and Joshua; Millie; Leilani, Jonah, and Sereniti; Sam, Coby, and Caris. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be made directly online at: nursemaude.org.nz . A Service to Celebrate Sue's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Friday, August 18, at 10.30am. Sue was a really talented piano player. Her organisation of social events at John Knox,along with others, was much appreciated.
Sue had a strong spirit which enabled her to face the future , and plan for her life fading out.Not easy. Heaven was in her heart and is her new home.Helen Walker
