Dear Richard and Family,
I only became aware last week that Sue had passed away on 2nd June this year.I was attending a Trade Show in Auckland and by chance met Paddy Dillon's son who was manning a stand at the show for the company He works for. Paddy's told me of Sue's passing. I did'nt have your address to write to you. A friend suggested I look on the Internet.
I am truly saddened by Sue,s passing as I have so many fond memories of Sue from years gone by when we were all young and had so much fun together with the parties, entertaining with one of the highlights being attending a demolition party in Raumati Hosted by the Bristeds who wanted to demolish their beach house. We all had to take an implement of destruction. I took a Chainsaw. I well remember Sue wanting to have a go and took to one of the bedroom walls with the Chainsaw. That was one hell of a night. I have some photos of Sue and Movie film.
I well remember my visits to Blenheim with my job at the time and frequently going to the Dillon household for Dinner with Tim Mary and Sue. They were always marvelous evenings. I also use take orders from female friends in Wellington for one Sue,s beautiful brushed Suede Womens Skirts that she used to make in her shop.
The last time I saw you both was at the Metropolis Hotel in 2000 when I worked their.
I send you all my Condolences and Heartfelt Sympathy. I know Sue will be sadly missed by your many friends and colleagues who know you both and your family. But at least in each of our own way we all have some special and wonderful memories of her.
Kindest Regards & Best Wishes,
Guy King.

Richard & family, thinking of you all in this very sad time
June 6, 2018
I wish to offer my heartfelfi condolences to the Macfarlane Family. I was a part of this family for a number of weeks before and after Winston was born, caring for Sandford and Winston. I have always had the utmost respect for Sue as I saw first hand what a very hard working wife and mother she was! I never had the privilege of meeting Clive or Alexandra, but I extend my sadness to them and their extended family.Kindest regards to Richard and family, From Charlie .
