To Janet and family.
I was upset to hear of Stu's passing but thought how fitting it was that with his defence connections, that the day he chose to depart, was of course, Anzac day.
I remember the first time I met Stu and I introduced myself to him because the talk he gave left me wanting to hear more. He was knowledgeable, professional and the nicest guy. He was smart and sharp as a tack! I was lucky enough to work with him on MoD and NZDF capability branch acquisitions and always enjoyed our interactions and professional exchanges.
I have such lovely memories of our time away with "work" in Paris, and having a "royale with cheese" at McDonald's. Makes me smile to recall this. He will be missed.
