I'll always have fond memories of my child hood thanks to uncle Steve.
Each time we would travel to Christchurch as a family visiting uncle Steves was always high on our must visit list as kids with his legendary gaming arcade room, classic car and truck. Going for rides in both was always a priority and memorable, we had a blast.
More recently he helped with a place to stay down south while my wife and I found our feet so for that I am forever grateful. Cheers to a great human taken far too soon with plenty more to give, rest in peace uncle Steve

Dearest Michelle, Family and extended O'Donnell Family. Like many Denise and I have nothing but fond memories of Steve who was such a good person. Selfless, modest quiet and yet with a cutting wit hence why laughter always followed him but very diplomatic and insightful about people. Very privileged to have known him. Without Steve Denise and I would not be enjoying our home because it was he that cracked the whip on our upgrades by being there early on his digger to dig out the back yard and home that we now enjoy. We look out on the garden and remember him with love - Peter, Denise & Luca

My daughter and I moved to Christchurch from Nelson back in 2004. We knew Steve's nephew Terry through one of my other daughters Annalisa, and, while we were looking for a place to live, Steve very kindly let us stay with him. His kindness was very much appreciated. Saddened to hear that he has passed on. Our condolences to the family.
