I could not believe it when Stevens name came over the midday news on the radio in Picton.Fifty odd years ago as children Steven and I used to be play mates (model boats on the pond at the CHCH Botanic Gardens) and at his family home in Woolston.
The years went by and we lost contact and our lives went different ways.
I just wish The Nottingham family to know that I am truly saddened to hear of your tragic Loss of Steven.

My heart felt sadness

Steve, you were one of the good guys. Glad we had the chance to catch up with you and Brent in the Leithfield in 2011 and it was nice to know that you were very happy with Lorinda. We are together today because of your matchmaking way back in 1985 at the Benefis Christmas do at the Old Orchard. Good times...we will both miss you........
