Steven BRIGGS Obituary

BRIGGS,
Steven George (Steve):
(of Old Oak Upholstery) On December 24, 2016, passed peacefully away at his home surrounded by his loving family by his side. Loved son of Norman and Barbara, loved husband and best friend of Carolyn, loved and loving Dad of Timothy and Renee, Adam, Cameron and Krystal, and loved and treasured Grandad of Connor and Stevie. Steven was a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. A special thank you to Dr John Cook, and Nurse Maude for their wonderful care of Steven. Flowers respectfully declined, but in Steve's memory donations to The Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages to the Briggs Family, c/- PO Box 263, Kaiapoi 7644. A service to Remember and Farewell Steve will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, on Friday, December 30, at 1.00pm.

A treasured loved brother-in-law of Bryan and Glenda Price, uncle to Bradley and Sarah, a very much loved son-in-law of the late Edna Willetts. Steve you were a huge part of our lives, you were always the first to help us all, no job was ever to big or small, you believed in standing up for what was right. A true strong kiwi bloke, you fought a hard battle and never gave up. We are so proud of you. Thank you for so many fond memories, we loved you. We are going to miss you so much.
