Dearly loved husband of Sandie, much loved father and father-in-law of Ange and Ants, and James and Sarah; Treasured grandad of Tyler; Oliver, Isabella, and Harry. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Jeff and Amanda and loved by all his extended family. Messages to the Hodgson Family c/- PO Box 187, Lyttelton. At Stephen's request a private cremation has taken place.

So sorry to know that Steve has gone - he was very influential on a number of young Junior Rates coming through the mess, myself included. We had a lot of fun times at Navy over the years. Will miss chatting to him and hearing his view on the world. Much love to Sandie and family. Wendy x

I am truly sorry to learn of Steve´s passing. Although we have not seen each other in a good while, I have nothing but very fond memories of him during our time shared at Pegasus and in Kiwi. Go well Shipmate. Condolences to his family.
