Stephen Paul (Steve):
On March 12, 2023, at Nurse Maude Hospice, after a short illness, aged 66 years. Steve was dearly loved by Margaret (Maggie), Alex and Kate, Tony (deceased), Carol and Grant, Helen and Ian, Trish and Mark, and their families. Special thanks to everyone who has supported and cared for Steve throughout his illness. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Steve Griffith, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The Funeral Service to honour Steve's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, Tomorrow (Friday), at 2.30pm, thereafter private cremation. To dear Steve, we had a great friendship, although there was distance between us we stayed close and always picked up from where we left off. Your friendship was unmeasurable and we could talk for hours over the phone. I am going to miss you mate but I will always think of you in the room next door. Until we meet again, we will never forget you.

Our darling Steve...really can't believe you have gone. I will never forget Uncle Les, You and Warwick and the paint,1961, I'm laughing even now. You were unobtrusively clever, seriously witty, totally irreverent when necessary & general all round fun. Great memories of Pines Beach holidays.
The soul is called home when your work here is done...much love to all our troops over there with you. See you on the other side Honey!
