APSE, Stefanija
(formerly Seilis) (nee Bojars):
We are celebrating the long, strong, wise life of Stefanija Apse who died peacefully, and with extreme dignity, at 8.11am on November 10, 2018. Born in Rezekne, Latvia, November 7, 1921. Daughter of Jazeps Bojars and Jezupate Zarembo. Young sister of Antonina, Janis, Bolislavs, Doritija, Antons, Peters, and Helena. Dearest mother of John and Ilse (Janis and Ilze). Dearest grandmother of Lisa, Alex, Lara, Anna, Krista, and Elizabeta. Dearest great-grandmother of Stefanija, Mowgli, Liam, Caitlin, Greta, Claudius, Amelia, Clementine, George and Ethan. Aunt and great-aunt to many in Latvia.
Loyal friend. Talented singer, gardener, and cook.
Avid reader.
Thank you to staff at Woburn Home for their support and friendship to Stefanija. A private service has been held and we are returning Stefanija to Latvia.

To Ilse, John and families. My deepest sympathy to you all at this very sad time. Stef was a close and wonderful friend for over 40 years, and she will be greatly missed by us all. She will live on in our fond memories. Thinking of you with love. Jude xoxo
