PHILLIPS, Stanley Edward (Stan):
Passed away peacefully with family, on August 30, 2017, aged 90 years. Dearly beloved husband of the late Tui and the late Mavis. Cherished father and father-in-law of Lynda and Murray Brice (Hawarden), and the late Graeme, treasured grandad of Charlie Brice and Mel Hunter (Waikari), and Emily Brice (Christchurch), loved Grandad Stan of Sue Rutherford (Australia), and adored great-grandad of Amelia, Ethan and Breanna Brice. Loved step-father, father-in-law and grandad of Denise and Paul, Lily, Shirley and Bruce, Gary and Sue, Kerry and Monica and families. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stan's grand-daughter's "Shave for a Cure" cause would be much appreciated and may be made at the service. A Celebration of Stan's life will be held in St Peter's Anglican Church, 10 Rue Balguerie, Akaroa, on Thursday, September 7, at 1.30pm.
