Stan REDMOND Obituary

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Stan Redmond, a parent from our school community.

Selwyn House Parents Association has expressed it's condolences to the Redmond family on behalf of Selwyn House parents and families. In lieu of flowers a donation has been made in line with the family's wishes. I know all parents will also join us in extending whatever practical assistance and support we can to Jo, Tyler and Ava through this deeply sad time.

Stan would arrive at work and my first thought was "oh what does Stan want now' but ever the gentleman he would set us a problem that was always interesting and often as not got us really thinking on how to solve it.
I will miss the Stan arriving because he always had some thing interesting to say and often as not an interesting problem to solve.
Just one question left Stan did you get the Pacific out and how did it compare to the Lola.

Stan you will be sorley missed I remember the times on the Plastics New Zealand fishing trips of the 80's and the reunion trip a few years back where we all thought we were still young.The New Zealand plastics industry has lost one of it's true characters and pioneers. your humour and freindship will be sorely missed. What a huge loss, we loved you so much and loved to see you coming over and Stanley always landed in to surprise us and always with a big smile. we had many many fun times to remember and of course plenty of antics took place... Respected friend of fiancee Daniella and former daughter-in-law Kim, and a much loved grandfather of Shannon, Kaitlin and Brooke. "We’ll miss watching you racing, and seeing you every day. It seems like the ride of life was too fast and you were taken too soon. The time until we see you again will be too slow."

REDMOND, Stan (Stanley) Stan tried so hard to stay here for us and knew we were all by his side to the last. Stan was the love of my life, my soulmate and my best friend. He gave us so many special memories and we always made the most of every day. Stan’s legacy will carry on with all the good he has done to help others. What a fantastic man we have all lost.
