Simon HAMPTON Obituary

Passed away in a place of special significance, doing something he loved, on November 8, 2023, aged 63 years. Dearly loved best friend and soulmate of the late Cindy. Adored father of Josie and Maddie. Cherished father-in-law of Hamish. Loved Pops of Mckenzie. Beloved son of Mumajan, the late John and the late Joe. Much loved brother to Jo, and Shorty. Loved and missed by all his friends and extended family. Messages to the Hampton family, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A Memorial service to celebrate Simon's life will be held at the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall, Main Street, Methven, on Wednesday, November 15 commencing at 1.30pm.

Sending Condolences to Simons family. It was awesome to get to know Simon from Coast to Coast training in early 2003. Many a memory kayaking on the Rakaia.
A great man taken too soon with such a passion and enthusiasm for multi sport.
