I had Shona on a pedestal from the time she married Bay. She spoke to you as though you were the only person in the room and always took an interest in my family´s doings. Auntie Sue and Uncle Adrian (Waterworth) adored her and Bay too and it seems to be the end of an especially glamorous era. Time to rest now, Shona. Back with Bay and Andrew.

Such a gentle and classy lady. Her words of wisdom to the Takapau ladies golf pennant team became legendary. On a mini bus heading up Hawke´s Bay to play the "bigger" clubs, as we pulled into their car parks, Shona would get up from her seat and say her word of the day - positive, commitment, determination were a few she used to inspire the team , and inspire she did. Such wonderful memories of her at the club. Rest in peace Shona.
