Shirley VAN GRINSVEN Obituary

On November 14, 2023, passed away peacefully at the Village Palms, aged 89 years. Dearly loved partner of Fred Killick, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Noeline and Flow, Johnny and Nicky, Donna and Gwyn, Joy and Graeme. Loved and adored Nanny of her 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. "Always in our hearts and will be sadly missed" Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Shirley Van Grinsven, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Service to Celebrate Shirley's life will be held in the AvonPark Chapel, cnr Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, Tomorrow, Sunday, November 19, at 3.00pm, thereafter private cremation.

To all the Family. Please accept our sympathy, to you all, on your loss of Shirley. Our families have had a long association, including the years, at Little River.Latterly, in town, we would often stop to speak to Shirley, & Fred at the local supermarket, where we would hear all the news! She was always interesting to chat with, & interested in our happenings, as well.
Happy to have known her! Condolences to you all, as you farewell Shirley tomorrow.Love. Marg. & Lew Coory, & family.
