Passed peacefully, surrounded by family on April 7, 2026, at Palm Grove Rest Home, in her 89th year. Dearly loved Mum and Mum-in-law of Pete, Shawn, Erin and Ian, and Kelly. Nana to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The service for Shirley will be livestreamed and can be viewed via johnrhind.co.nz under upcoming funerals. Shirley's celebration of 89 years will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Monday, April 13, at 1.00pm.
